What is a Bellygram?
A bellygram is a short performance by a bellydancer ranging from 10 to 15 minutes in length. A bellygram is a great way of delivering a gift or message and spotlighting your guest of honor. It may be performed in almost any space including a workplace, home or restaurant.
Full shows ranging from 20 - 30 minutes can also be arranged with either solo or multiple troupe dancers. Shows are appropriate for almost any occasion including dinner parties, theme evenings, festivals, corporate events, and weddings.
Prices for bellygrams and full shows vary depending on show length, number of dancers performing and venue location. Contact Sariana for additional information at (909) 862-5839 or via email at sarianadances@yahoo.com
Setting the Stage for Success
When you call to book a dancer please have the following information available:
Contact name and number, type of event, correct spelling of guest of honor's name and message to be delivered (the dancer will present a personalized card at the performance), address of the dance location with directions and parking information.
If your event does not have a DJ with a sound system, the dancer will bring her own CD player, but please be sure there is an electrical outlet convenient to the dance space. If your event is outdoors with no electricity available, please advise us so that other arrangements can be made.
Please arrange chairs and tables so there will be enough room for the dancer to perform.
Showing your appreciation by clapping with the music, watching attentively and encouraging your guests to do the same will make the evening more memorable.
Tips are accepted but guests are requested not to put money in the dancer's costume or touch the dancer. If guests wish to tip the dancer they can hand her the money after the show or shower her with bills in the traditional Middle Eastern style.
Please be considerate of the dancer's time, she may have another engagement that evening. The dancer will arrive at the specified time and the show should begin within a reasonable amount of time. Extended delays may incur an additional fee.
For outdoor events, the dancer has the right to cancel the performance due to bad weather conditions such as rain.
If pets are present at the performance location, please ensure they won't interfere with the show. The sound of finger cymbals can sometimes disturb them.
Jewels of the Desert do not perform after 12:00 midnight, dance at all male (bachelor) parties, or any one-to-one shows.
